Wild Scene Outside Of Madison Heights Motel
A wild scene outside of a Madison Heights motel early Tuesday morning.
WWJ's Ron Dewey reports from the scene that police from three different departments were called in to help.
Madison Heights Police tell WWJ they were called by a guest at the Troy-Madison Best Western, saying visitors to their room were trying to break in and that they believed those people would harm them.
When police arrived, three people in a car tried to leave the scene, but crashed into a wall. Two people in the car hopped over a fence and took off on foot, but all were caught a short time later, with the aid of police from Royal Oak and Troy.
The would-be fugitives were taken into custody. Investigators are working to piece together the details.
