Sircon Announces Milestone for Advanced Sync Technology

Okemos-based Sircon Corp. Monday that it hd reached the two million record milestone with its One-Click Compliance feature of syncing insurance agent data records.

"With producer data changing so frequently, it is near impossible to keep up and remain compliant without the type of proactive solution offered by Sircon," said Sarah Bellis, vice president agent on-boarding at UnitedHealthcare Medicare Solutions. "Sircon's advanced syncing capabilities enable us to eliminate the need to manually reconcile and re-enter data while ensuring that we remain compliant."

For most agencies and carriers, licensing and appointing information for 80 percent or more of their insurance agents will change within the course of a year. However, most carriers will not be automatically notified of these changes, which can lead to tedious manual updates or the risk of non-compliance. Sircon's advanced syncing technology compares 39 separate fields of information and more than 5,000 lines of authority to automatically adjust for data  inconsistencies and ensure that both agencies and carriers remain compliant.

"More and more carriers and agencies are utilizing our advanced sync technology to ensure they keep producer information current with the national producer database and state databases for continuing education information," said Tim Owen, vice president of product management at Sircon. "Regular syncing with trusted data sources like the PDB and state databases can help carriers and agencies avoid unnecessary fees for renewing producers as well as minimize their risk of becoming non-compliant."

Sircon's One-Click Compliance advanced syncing technology is available as part of its Producer Manager system, included in both the Sircon for Carriers and Sircon for Agencies product suites.
