Some major players will become team members with the new governor’s administration.

WWJ Newsradio 950’s Lansing Bureau Chief Tim Skubick says former Democratic House Speaker Andy Dillon will be the new State Treasurer in the Rick Snyder administration.

And former Lieutenant Governor Dick Posthumous will join the administration as well. He’ll become a senior advisor on legislative affairs for the Snyder administration.

This will be a newly-created job. Posthumous served in the House and the Senate, as well as Lieutenant Governor during the John Engler administration. He ran unsuccessfully for governor in 2002.

Republican Governor-elect Rick Snyder plans to make it official Monday morning in Ann Arbor.

shake it up man! get this place moving. think DIllon is brilliant move to get him to close the deal on his idea of merging the (bloated) public sector pension/benefit plans.

Here we go – if Synder is so interested in creating change, why is he bringing in the same old people? And – surely people in state government will lose their jobs, so how can Synder dare to create a new government position?
