Megamind Is "Mega Funny"

Opening at the box office this weekend: the smart and funny comedy, Megamind.

The animated feature from Dreamworks stars Will Ferrell as the lead character; Saturday Night Live alum Tina Fey as Roxanne Ritchi ; Jonah Hill as Tighten; and Brad Pitt as Metro Man, the hero of Metro City.

Megamind is both smart and funny. Megamind is a brilliant super villain who has tried to conquer Metro City over and over again. But, each time he fails, thanks to Metro Man, who has been invincible until the day Megamind kills him as part of one of his botched evil plans.

What happens next is a surprise to both Megamind and, undoubtedly, the audience watching the movie. The plot is definitely a unique twist on the usual superhero capers.

Megamind is directed by Tom McGrath and is from the studio behind "Shrek" "Madagascar" and "Kung Fu Panda." It is rated PG.
