Chrysler Brand Replacing Entire Lineup In 2011

This is the week that Chrysler takes the wraps off of a big new product infusion that will see 80 per cent of its products touched, and see an entirely new lineup for the Chrysler brand.

Many of those new vehicles will get their public debut at this week's Los Angeles Auto Show.   Chrysler has a Tuesday night, invitation-only event at a dealership near the convention center, where press previews of the LA Auto Show begin on Wednesday.

And, to go along with the new and improved lineup, the auto maker says all 2011-model Chrysler brand vehicles will sport its new Chrysler winged badge logo.

"What Chrysler Brand will be, and what will make it unique, is that it will give people beautiful shapes, which would otherwise be out of reach. It will always deliver a bit more than the customer expects," said Olivier Francois, Chrysler Brand President & CEO, in a statement. "At every turn, Chrysler Brand and its vehicles will deliver what people deserve, not just what they expect. It will take appointments - design, technology, and engines, to name a few - that were borne for a few and deliver them to the masses."

Chrysler says many of the new products, including the 2011 Chrysler 300, the Chrysler 200 and the Town & Country minivan, will be in dealerships by the end of the year.

Chrysler will also use the Los Angeles Auto Show to mark the return of the Fiat brand to the United States.  The Fiat 500 will debut in February.
