Catch Up On Reading Over Winter Break
With the holiday recess coming up, kids will have a lot of time on their hands, time that might be best spent reading. With kids out of school for a few weeks, they should be spending about an hour a day reading, to keep up their skills during the break.
To help with his, Judith Maginnis Kuster has compiled a list posted on the Internet to help parents choose good books for their kids, and to also list places to find electronic books. The site includes picture books online for the youngest readers, as well as classics that are available free over the web.
