Mother Seeks Son's Killers

The grieving mother of a Detroit man, shot to death at a northwest side gas station, is asking for your help in finding his killers.

Genise Stuckey is preparing to attend a candlelight vigil at the B-P station on 7 Mile Road Sunday night, the station where her son Brian was shot and killed as he pled for his life.

Stuckey asks that anyone who knows anything call police, Crimestoppers or 911.

"You hear people on t-v and everything talking about how they want Detroit to have a  better image and everything.  Detroit can't have a better image if everybody turn their head and close their eyes to things that happen and won't step up and help others," Stuckey told WWJ's Beth Fisher.

Stuckey says it's hard because her 29-year-old son had four children and they can't even afford a funeral for him.

A 25-thousand dollar reward is offered for information leading to an arrest in the case.
