Extradition Hearing For Father Of Missing Boys

The Morenci father who's facing parental kidnapping charges in connection with the disappearance of his three young sons has an extradition hearing today in Toledo.

39-year-old John Skelton is jailed on $3 million bond in the Lucas County Jail. He's charged with parental kidnapping in the disappearance of nine-year-old Andrew, seven-year-old Alexander and five-year-old Tanner Skelton, all last seen on Thanksgiving Day.

The hearing follows Gov. Granholm's request to return Skelton to Michigan.

The boys' mother, Tanya Skelton, reported her sons missing after their father didn't return them from a court-ordered visitation.

Police say John Skelton made up a story about giving the boys to a female acquaintance.
