John Skelton Headed Back To Michigan

The father of three boys missing since Thanksgiving has ended his fight against returning to Michigan from Ohio to face parental kidnapping charges.

John Skelton waived extradition at a hearing Tuesday in Toledo, Ohio and the court accepted. Skelton was driven away a short time later by Morenci, Mich., police Chief Larry Weeks and another officer.

Authorities wanted Skelton in Michigan where he lives and where 9-year-old Andrew, 7-year-old Alexander and 5-year-old Tanner Skelton were last seen. Their mother reported them missing after Skelton didn't return them from a court-ordered visitation.

Police say they don't expect a positive outcome in the investigation.

Skelton's court-appointed attorney for the extradition hearing has said he wouldn't comment on the case.
