Vigil Held For Three Missing Brothers

Several dozen people, most who don't know Andrew, Alexander and Tanner Skelton, turned out for a candlelight vigil in Adrian nearly one month after they were last seen alive.

The Thursday evening gathering at the Trestle Park band shell was near the Lenawee County jail where John Skelton is being held on kidnapping charges and about 10 miles north of the boys' hometown of Morenci.

The mother of the boys, Tanya Skelton, did not attend the vigil, but family friends were there.

Nine-year-old Andrew, 7-year-old Alexander and 5-year-old Tanner have not been seen since Thanksgiving when they were at their father's home.  Police and volunteers have searched areas in both Michigan and Ohio without finding the boys.

Police say John Skelton has made false claims about turning the boys over to another woman.  He also told a judge the boys are with an organization, but wouldn't say which one.

Tanya Skelton has said she has wrapped presents under the tree for the each of the boys.

Morenci's police chief has said he does not predict a postive outcome in this case.
