Taylor Police Look For Carjacker

Taylor Police are asking for the public's help in solving the carjacking of a
65-year-old woman Wednesday evening.

The New Boston resident told Taylor Police she pulled into the parking lot of the American Legion and parked her vehicle.  As soon as she exited, she was struck in the back of the head. The victim, who uses a cane, fell to the ground where the man kept demanding her keys and purse.

The suspect then told the victim to give him her car keys and held something to the back of her head while stating, "I'll blow your head off." She gave the keys to the suspect and he fled in an unknown direction.
Taylor Police responded and found the woman bleeding from her head and
eye.

She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of her injuries and has
since been released. At this point, investigators are still working with the victim on a description of the suspect.

Police are still searching for her vehicle, which is a 4-door 2008 Ford Fusion, gray in color.
