John Skelton Due In Court Wednesday

WWJ Newsradio 950 will be in an Adrian courtroom Wednesday morning when John Skelton is arraigned on parental kidnapping charges in connection with the disappearance of his three young sons. It's been nearly six weeks since they were last seen at their father's house.

Today's court appearance will be the first step towards a trial, which Skelton faces for parental kidnapping charges, given his alleged responsibility behind the disappearance of his three sons.

Skelton decided to forego a preliminary exam in District Court, where the prosecution would have had to show probable cause for a trial.

Andrew, Alexander and Tanner Skelton have not been seen since Thanksgiving Day. Police have followed up on about 900 tips, including suspected sightings, but nothing to confirm their whereabouts.
