Still No Sign Of Escaped Inmate

Police all over Metro Detroit are still on the hunt for a Wayne County fugitive who was taken to the hospital and vanished.

Deputies took 45-year-old Willie Wright to Harper Hospital for a medical appointment dealing with an injury to one of his hands. That's why he wasn't in handcuffs, but leg irons instead.

Wright is 6'5" tall and weighs between 275-300 pounds. He broke free despite being sprayed with pepper spray. He entered a maintenance room where he picked up an ice pick and a hammer.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
