WOW Completes Construction In Beverly Hills

WOW Internet, Cable and Phone, formerly known as Wide Open West, announced that it has completed installation of its fiber optic cable network in Beverly Hills. As a result, the residents and business owners of Beverly Hills now have a better choice of Internet, cable and phone providers, and are able to enjoy award winning customer service for which WOW is highly renowned.

WOW obtained a cable franchise for Beverly Hills last summer. Construction began shortly thereafter and WOW started connecting its first Beverly Hills customers in late August. WOW has already invested more than $2 million in Beverly Hills with this expansion, and will continue to invest in the community as its customer base grows.
According to Vice President of Technical Services Floyd Armstead, "The customer demand for our products and customer service is much greater than we expected. We feel very fortunate to be able to serve the residents of Beverly Hills and offer them an additional choice of providers."

WOW is widely recognized for its commitment to customer service, having earned top honors over the years from a number of highly regarded, independent sources such as Consumer Reports and J.D. Power and Associates. It's this commitment that WOW is bringing to Beverly Hills as the community's newest Cable, Internet and Phone provider.

According to senior vice president and general manager Mark Dineen, "The welcome we have received from the residents of Beverly Hills has been tremendous. I have received notes and e-mails of appreciation, even holiday cards expressing thanks for enabling them to join the rest of our Michigan family of customers. We're very proud to be a part of Beverly Hills."

Last year, WOW announced plans to expand into three communities adjacent to the 42 communities the company has already been serving for over a decade. In addition to Beverly Hills, they are Birmingham, where construction is expected to be complete this winter, and Grosse Pointe Woods, where construction will soon begin.
