Refresh Detroit offers program on WordPress: For our last presentation in our content management series, Todd List gives us an introduction to WordPress, the popular Web platform and will address using it for personal or business use. His presentation and live demonstration will cover how to decide whether WordPress is right for you, the capabilities and limitations of WordPress and where to find resources for more help. Agile conference coming to Dearborn: A conference on agile development is scheduled for Saturday, March 12 in Dearborn. "Agile and Beyond: Our Journey Continues" will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ford Conference and Events Center, 1151 Village Road. CAR To Host Conference On Automotive Recovery: The Ann Arbor-based Center for Automotive Research will sponsor Roads to Renewal II, a conference on the ongoing recovery in the American auto industry, on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 29 and 30, at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn. As the economy is improving, the auto industry is investing billions of dollars. These investments will spur development of new technologies, and lead to increased demand for goods and services from many industries. Companies will expand their operations and hire more workers. Education, training and economic development institutions will partner to provide a skilled work force and an ability to replicate that workforce in the future. There will be many opportunities for communities to attract new investment.
