Terri Lynn Land Considers 2012 Election Options

DETROIT (WWJ/AP) Former Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land is weighing her options for the 2012 election.

Land tells the Detroit News she is considering challenging U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow and is encouraged by a recent Wilson Research Strategies poll showing her within a few points of the Democrat.

Land says she plans to meet soon with another possible candidate, former Congressman Pete Hoekstra, before making a decision.

Other possible candidates for the 2012 election include Republican National Committeeman Saul Anuzis and businessman Tim Leuliette.
