Suspect Arrested In Home Invasion Deaths
DETROIT (WWJ/AP) A 19-year-old suspect has been arrested in the fatal shooting of an 89-year-old blind man and his son during a break-in at their Detroit home last weekend.
Prosecutors have charged Savante A. Johnson with first-degree murder, home invasion and having a firearm during a felony.
Detroit Police say Johnson killed Joseph Lauzon and his 54-year-old son Randy Lauzon. A rear window of their home was smashed.
Johnson remains in the Wayne County jail Thursday night.
Police plan to release more information Friday.
