Three Degrees Of Pat Caputo
Three decisions the Tigers must make in regard to Miguel Cabrera in aftermath of his DUI arrest:
1. The season is fast approaching. Do they put him on the field, have somebody with him 24/7 and get him into an extensive rehab following the season?
2. Do they have him check into rehab now, knowing full well it will likely be a good portion into the season before he is ready to play?
3. For the long term - do the Tigers look to trade Cabrera? This is the second time his issues have come up at the worst possible time. The first was in 2009 down the stretch of a tight pennant race. And this time, it happened just days into spring training when optimism about the Tigers was running rampant.
