Deadly Car-Train Accident In Monroe

MONROE TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - As reported on WWJ Newsradio 950 Wednesday morning, one man has died following a car-train accident in Monroe.

The man -- whose identity hasn't been released -- died following the early-morning crash which occurred at a railroad crossing that was marked with gates and lights.

As a result of the accident, authorities were forced to close Dunbar Road between Telegraph and Dixie Highway.

Sheriff's officials are investigating.
