Charges Possible After Kids Found Living In Shed

DETROIT (WWJ) - The Wayne County Prosecutor's office is reviewing a police report to determine if any criminal charges should be brought in a case involving two young girls who were found living in a shed.

Detroit police took the three-year old and five-year old girls into protective custody Monday evening after they were found in the heated shed behind a home on Shiawassee Road, near Eight Mile and Telegraph.

Police say the children were living with their mother and aunt. The kids were healthy.

No arrests have been made, but the investigation is ongoing.
