North Coast Industrial Imaging Adds NEC Avio Gear

Port Huron-based North Coast Industrial Imaging said this week it had been appointed by NEC Avio Infrared Technologies Co. Ltd. as a sales representative organization for Michigan and surrounding areas.

Said NCII President Barry Sutherland: "The NEC brand statement 'Empowered by Innovation' parallels our desire to find creative ways to apply technology to solve real business issues."

NEC Avio, a manufacturer of high technology thermal imaging camera and data acquisition recording systems, has begun sales of the entire line of products through a recently acquired company, Soltec Corp. of San Fernando, Calif.

As a result of the new relationship with NCII, NEC Avio has elected to hold its first North American Sales Meeting in Port Huron MI from March 18-20.

Said Jon Chynoweth, the newly appointed product manager for NEC Avio - Soltec: "As we begin to address the needs of the process control market with thermal imaging products, Michigan is the ideal location to launch this initiative due to the rich industrial history of our state – and the many opportunities to make contributions to address critical manufacturing problems."

NCII was formed in 2007 to provide high quality imaging products and services to businesses and industrial concerns in the Great Lakes Region. In addition to representing NEC Avio, NCII also provides thermal imaging services such as electrical audits, injection molding cooling audits, and building audits to customers in the region.

Also, NCII is launching a line of thermal imaging cameras based on lower-cost thermopile technology -- and a provides both standard and customized imaging software applications.
