Fun With Numbers & PBS Friends
It pays to get kids involved in math as early as possible, and to make it as fun as any other type of play.
For kids old enough to use a computer, PBS Kids hosts an array of math games, often based on shows and characters that kids love. Located at pbskids.org, these include counting with Teletubbies, measuring with Clifford the Big Red Dog, and shapes with Curious George. Kids can even collect trash with Oscar the grouch from Sesame Street.
All are free of charge, and suitable for children at any age.
