John Skelton Facing More Charges

MORENCI (WWJ) - The father of three missing Morenci boys will be back in court Wednesday to face additional charges.

The Lenawee County Prosecutor's Office has added three charges each of kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment against 39-year-old John Skelton. The new counts are in addition to three counts of parental kidnapping Skelton already faces. His boys -- ages 9, 7 and 5 -- have been missing since November.

Police say earlier this month, Skelton told authorities his sons are with the United Foster Outreach and Underground Sanctuaries, an organization investigators have been unable to locate.

Police say the search for the boys is being handled as a homicide investigation.
