Pistons Report: Roster

--G Richard Hamilton has struggled to find his shot since he was restored to the rotation three games ago. He has shot 12-for-38 from the field during that span, but he has been playing crunch-time minutes because head coach John Kuester has been impressed with his offensive approach and energy.

--F Charlie Villanueva scored all of his 16 points against Washington Sunday in the second quarter. He took advantage of Wizards rookie Trevor Booker, breaking free for three three-pointers and driving the baseline for lay-ups. Villanueva is averaging 14.8 points over the last five games.

--F Austin Daye was moved back to the bench Sunday with Tayshaun Prince healthy enough to play. Daye played well against the Wizards, contributing 12 points, five rebounds and two of the club's seven blocks. He will remain the backup small forward but could emerge as the starter next season if Prince, an unrestricted free agent, does not return.

MEDICAL WATCH

--F Jonas Jerebko (partial Achilles' tear, right leg) underwent surgery on Oct. 8 after crashing to the floor while driving to the basket during the opening preseason game. He could return during the last few games of the season.

--G Terrico White (fractured fifth metatarsal, right foot) was injured during the Pistons' preseason opener and also underwent surgery Oct. 8. He is expected to return before the end of the season.

--C Ben Wallace (personal reasons) has not played the last five games. He is out indefinitely.
