Rochester's FEDS Robotics Team Wins In TC
The Rochester High School Robotics Team achieved an overall victory at the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Traverse City District competition March 4-5.
The Rochester Robotics team, also known as the FEDS, competed rigorously and emerged victorious out of the 40 Michigan teams that participated.
In addition to their hard earned victory, the student team won an award for exceptional safety and the Judges Award for being the best overall team participating.
Finally, long-time mentor Larry Roy of Rochester Hills was nominated for the Woody Flowers award for his exceptional commitment to the team.
RHS Robotics FEDS 201 next compete March 18 and 19 at Wayne State University.
