Body Found On Railroad Tracks

DETROIT (WWJ) - Wayne police are investigating a body that was found laying on railroad tracks  earlier this afternoon near Michigan Avenue and Merriman.

 Officials say there were signs of trauma to the body.

The identity of the person is not known.

The Wayne County Medical Examiner's office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
