Man Allegedly Impersonating Air Marshal Arrested

BOSTON (AP) - A man has been accused of falsely telling another passenger on a Detroit-to-Boston flight that he was a federal air marshal.

Ann Davis, a spokeswoman for the federal Transportation Safety Administration, said Wednesday that an actual federal marshal on Delta flight 1922 detained the man. The plane landed safely at Logan International Airport at 11:35 a.m. and the man was taken into custody.

Davis said the man has been released but is facing a court appearance on a charge of interfering with a flight crew. His identity wasn't immediately released.
