ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - Fans who turned out for a hip-hop concert at the Royal Oak Music Theatre Thursday night got an unexpected surprise.

Detroit native and rap superstar Eminem joined acts Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf on stage as they closed out the concert.

The crowd went wild when Eminem took the stage to thank fans for coming out as he proclaimed "We love you Michigan!"

Both acts have recently signed with Eminem's Shady Records. Slaughterhouse, which consists of rappers Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce da 5'9", appeared on the deluxe edition of Eminem's album "Recovery." Yelawolf, a rapper from Alabama, credits Eminem for saving his life. Both acts appeared alongside Eminem on the cover of the March 2011 XXL magazine.
