Spirit Airline Flight Attendants Protest At Metro
DETROIT (WWJ) - Flight attendants with Spirit Airlines are holding a nationwide protest this Friday afternoon. The flight attendants are picketing to protest what they say is management's refusal to negotiate a fair and timely contract.
Flight attendants will be picketing at Detroit Metro Airport.
Spirit Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), organized the nationwide picket.
"Spirit Flight Attendants are standing together and sending a message to management: we deserve a fair and equitable contract that reflects the important contributions we make to the bottom line of this company," Todd St Pierre, AFA Spirit President, said in a release.
