Aretha Franklin Celebrates Birthday With Song
DETROIT (WWJ) - She's 69 and still divine. Aretha Franklin celebrated her 69th birthday Friday night and gave a rousing performance at a party in her honor.
The Queen of Soul serenaded numerous celebrities in attendance, including Tony Bennett, Smokey Robinson, music mogul Clive Davis and Bette Midler.
Franklin underwent surgery late last year for an ailment she has not disclosed, but says she's fully recovered.
