–The Fennville Blackhawks boys basketball team was in attendance Saturday and got a standing ovation when introduced by the public-address announcer during the third quarter. Fennville became a national story when it won a Class C district title a week after star player Wes Leonard collapsed on the court and died of a heart ailment minutes after hitting a game-winning shot. The Blackhawks lost in the regionals to eventually state champion Schoolcraft.
