Accidental Drowning Confirmed In Death Of 4-Year-Old Boy

MONROE COUNTY (WWJ) - Criminal charges are not expected, after a four-year old boy drowns in Monroe County.  The child was reported missing by his parents Sunday afternoon in Raisinville Township. 

Authorities say the boy, identified as Jackson Kastner by the Monroe Evening News, was a student at the Riverside Early Learning Center.

The child was  pronounced dead at Monroe Mercy Hospital.

It is now confirmed that the boy drowned in the River Raisin.

The sheriff's department says there is no evidence of foul play.
