'Hit List' Found At School: Police Beef Up Security

DETROIT (WWJ) - Classes are underway at a Port Huron high school Tuesday, but there's a stepped-up police presence, after school officials say they found a disturbing message within the school.

WWJ Newsradio 950's Vickie Thomas reports that there is a beefed up police presence at Port Huron Northern High School,  the result of a 'hit-list' found written on the bathroom wall last week.

The message threatened to injure eight students and used racial slurs against African-Americans and specifically stated that there would be trouble at the school Tuesday.
