Yes, Some Bacteria Is Good For You

Kids do not usually believe that bacteria are good for them, but parents know better. Food labels are now covered with new words like probiotics, good flora, active cultures, and healthy bacteria.

What does all this mean and should you be buying them?

Probiotics are strains of good bacteria that benefit your gastrointestinal (GI) system that have been added to products. They have been shown to have a positive effect on overall digestion, the immune system, and GI health.

Look for your yogurt to contain active cultures to ensure that it has the probiotics that you want!
