Former Pistons' 'Bad Boys' Reunite For Special Event

PONTIAC (WWJ) - Detroit's original "Bad Boys" Rick Mahorn, James Edwards, John Long, and Vinnie Johnson will host the Ultimate Bad Boys Reunion. This exclusive event will take place March 31 at the Eagle Theatre in Pontiac starting at 9 pm. Guests in attendance will have an opportunity to mix and mingle with the players and enjoy cocktails.

Approximately 20 years ago, the "Bad Boys" made headlines for dominating the NBA and winning two consecutive titles. Dubbed the "Bad Boys" by the media for their aggressive and relentless dedication to the game, the 1989-1990 Detroit Pistons went on to make NBA history for having a 63-19 season in 1989.

The event is being held the night before the Detroit Pistons game on April 1, where they will retire Dennis Rodman's jersey.

"We're really excited and fortunate to get together and host our reunion event," Mahorn said in a release. "It always brings great pleasure to be able to reunite with old teammates, especially those guys, and the fans. We're really looking forward to it."

The Ultimate Bad Boys Reunion will take place inside the Eagle Theatre located at 15 South Saginaw St, Pontiac, MI, 48342. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $50 for VIP. Tickets can be purchased at this website.
