Adaptive Materials Names New VP: Ultra Electronics Adaptive Materials, the Ann Arbor fuel cell manufacturer, has appointed Tom Reedy to vice president, engineering.  Reedy, who will report directly to company president Aaron Crumm, will assume responsibility for AMI's engineering team, and serve as a liaison between the leadership, engineering and product development teams. Prior to joining AMI, Reedy  was manager of military and vehicle systems development at Northville-based IAV Automotive Engineering. At IAV, Reedy was responsible for the mechanical engineering group, including strategy, business development, and technology.  His previous experience also includes serving as chief program engineer for Ricardo Vehicle Systems Engineering. Reedy earned a master of science degree in engineering design from Loughborough University of Technology.  He earned a bachelor of engineering in mechanical and production engineering from Sir John Moore's University of Liverpool.
