Blues Go Mobile

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has gone mobile, offering information that can be accessed from a computer or smartphone at any time by its members.

"Now, more than ever before, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network members have easy access to health care coverage information, wherever they go," said Kathryn Levine, Blues vice president of corporate marketing and product.

Blues members can log in to Member Secured Services, view their health care claims and look up savings that they can receive from a company discount program called Healthy Blue Xtras.  They can also search for doctors, specialists, dentists, hospitals and medical facilities.

The benefits of our mobile site are availability, convenience and simplicity:
* Convenience: Access information about health care coverage from a desktop or smart phone at any time.
* Simplicity: Members can find the information they need, when they need it. For Blues members, keeping track of their health is easier than ever.
* Availability: Members can access important information anytime.

"This will empower our members to access and receive the information they need, when they need it, and become better stewards of their health in the process," said Levine.  "Members can make smarter purchases by viewing all discounts available to Blue Cross members, so they can save money on the healthy products and services they use everyday."
