ROYAL OAK (WWJ) – Ferndale, Pontiac and Berkley are looking for a way to put on their entertainment at this year’s Dream Cruise.  This occurs after the Motor City Casino has decided to pull out of its sponsorship of the event this year.

Dream Cruise President Greg Rassel  says no matter what, the show will go on. “They’ve decided to make a business decision on how they’re investing their community involvement dollars, and we wish them all the luck, and thank them for their support,” says Rassel.

“We’ll get by … the Dream Cruise is an event like Christmas, it will come without packages, it will come without ribbons, it will be a little more difficult for the communities to put it on, at a certain level. I mean, the Dream Cruise is an event of its own,” says Rassel.
