Bob Seger Receives Big Honor From Palace
AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) - Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band have received a big honor from the Palace of Auburn Hills.
On Saturday, as Seger wrapped up his last of three concerts, he was surprised with a banner commemorating 38 consecutive career sold-out shows at the Palace and its sister venue, DTE Energy Music Theatre. It's one of the highest honors Palace Sports and Entertainment, Inc. can give to performers for their record-setting achievement.
WWJ Entertainment Reporter Terri Lee says Seger captivated the crowd playing all of his legendary hits during the concerts. His critically acclaimed 2011 tour, which is nearing the end, brought tons of fans to the Palace over the weekend for three sellout shows.
