Automation Alley Welcomes 27 New Members in May

Automation Alley, the Troy-based technology business association for southeast Michigan, announced today that 27 new members joined the organization in May.

Said Automation Alley Executive Director Ken Rogers: "This isn't about numbers -- it's about creating valuable relationships based on a shared desire to see our region grow and prosper. I believe Automation Alley is greater than the sum of its parts, but each part plays a vital role in creating a sustainable technology economy here in Michigan."

Additionally, in the past 31 days, Automation Alley's website, www.automationalley.com, welcomed 22,673 visitors and 34,599 page views. The top page was once again the Event Calendar, which spotlights Automation Alley's member companies. Individuals and organizations in Canada, India, and China visited the site, while regionally, the City of Troy led the majority with 2,696 visits.

Since its founding in 1999, Automation Alley has expanded to include nearly 1,000 businesses, educational institutions and government entities from the City of Detroit and the surrounding eight-county region. Automation Alley promotes regional prosperity through entrepreneurial and exporting assistance, workforce development and technology acceleration.
