House of Marley Readies Summer Launch Of Personal Audio

The Commerce Township-based audio company House of Marley today announced at Consumer Electronics Week in New York City that the premium, eco-friendly personal audio electronics line from the family of Bob Marley is prepared to ship its first wave of Marley products to retailers Aug. 15.

The House of Marley will showcase their collection of Marley audio gear during CE Week at CEA Line Shows, June 22-23 at Booth A9.

"We've been working tirelessly since we introduced The House of Marley at the Consumer Electronics Show and MAGIC trade show earlier this year to finalize a launch collection that Bob and his family would be proud to call their own," said Don Inmon, general manager of the House of Marley. "We are excited to get the headphones to our fans, as we have total confidence that they will enjoy them as much as we've enjoyed creating them."

The first products from The House of Marley, featuring more than 50 different varieties of in-ear and over-ear headphones, will ship to retailers Aug. 15. Additional products will become available in the fall of 2011 for the holiday shopping season. The House of Marley was created from the belief in Bob Marley's vision of "One Love," offering a range of eco-friendly, innovative personal audio electronics products that adhere to the Marley family core values: equality, unity, authenticity, sustainability and charity.

Marley is comprised of three collections -- Jammin', Freedom, and Destiny -- and features passive noise cancelling in-ear headphones, over-ear headphones, docking stations, speakers and boom boxes. Suggested retail prices range from $29.99 to $499.99, offering superior audio products for "young gongs" to "conscious connoisseurs." Products will be available at street, ski, skate and surf shops as well as at electronics retailers and online.

Four guiding principles are central to turning Bob Marley's ideals into actions at The House of Marley: Superior Quality, Cause Minded, Sustainably Sourced and Waste Conscious. A portion of proceeds from The House of Marley will benefit 1Love.org, which is dedicated to spreading Bob Marley's message of unity and peace by lifting up a new generation of "young gongs" to strike the hammer for charities, causes and ideas that can change the world with a focus on youth, planet and peace.
