Man Found Dead In Mount Clemens Apartment
MOUNT CLEMENS (WWJ) - Police have identified a man who was found stabbed to death in his Mount Clemens apartment.
Investigators were called to the apartment on Cass Avenue around 8:50 p.m. Sunday by a manager who had gone to check about an unusual odor. When the manager opened the door, he saw the body and called police.
Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham told WWJ Newsradio 950 there appeared to have been a struggle.
The victim was identified as 48-year-old Kenneth Lee Jones of Mount Clemens.
Later in the day, police arrested 34-year-old Chiumbo Kamau Henry, also of Mount Clemens, who is suspected in a prior assault on Jones last month. Henry was arraigned in 41B District Court. Bond was set at $500.
