Stabbing Leaves Roseville Teen Dead

ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - One Roseville teen is dead, another teen is in jail after a stabbing early Saturday morning.

Roseville police say 16-year old Tremain Robert Poe was found on the living room floor in a home in the 25000 block of Ford Street around 4 a.m.  He had been stabbed once in the upper abdomen.

A preliminary investigation shows Poe was in the home with his 16-year old girlfriend, her mother and the teenagers' baby.  There was an argument and police claim Poe's girlfriend stabbed him with a kitchen-style knife.

The girlfriend was arrested at the home for murder and is at the Macomb County Youth Home.  The Macomb County Prosecutor's office will review the case and decide charges.  Also to be determined is if the 16-year old will be tried as an adult.

A hearing is set for Monday afternoon in juvenile court.
