Fatal Crash In Monroe County

LONDON TWP. (WWJ) - Wet roads could have contributed to a deadly crash Wednesday night in Monroe County.

Michigan State Police say one man was killed and another man injured in London Township when their car veered off the road and hit a tree. The passenger, who was from the Romulus area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital with non life-threatening injuries.  The crash remains under investigation.
