TOLEDO (AP) – Ohio troopers say a crash that killed three people has shut down a busy freeway just outside Toledo.

The northbound lanes of Interstate 475 that connect the city with southern Michigan aren’t expected to reopen until late Thursday afternoon.
The Blade newspaper of Toledo reports authorities also closed a ramp connecting northbound Interstate 75 with 475.

The State Highway Patrol says the crash Thursday morning involved several vehicles including a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer.
One of the victims was thrown from a vehicle and found beneath an overpass.
