Joe Muer's Seafood Restaurant Holds Job Fair

DETROIT (WWJ) - There might be a job for you, if you know the restaurant business.

Joe Muer's Seafood Restaurant is holding a job fair from noon to 6:00 pm Tuesday inside the Renaissance Center.

The restaurant is looking to fill about 100 positions for its downtown restaurant that is anticipated to open in September this year.

Joe Muer's is looking for servers, bartenders, dishwashers, restaurant cleaners and culinary professionals.

Anyone attending should enter through the RenCen's street level west entrance near Tower 400. Signs will be posted to direct you from there.

Joe Muer's seafood restaurant closed it's doors in May of 1998 and the old building on Gratiot in Detroit has since been torn down. In March, Andiamo Restaurant Group President and CEO Joe Vicari announced his ownership of the once-popular eatery and plans to reopen the downtown restaurant.
