Red Level Networks Acquires Professional Services Division of Preferred Solutions

Novi-based Red Level Networks Tuesday announced that it has acquired the technical services division of Preferred Solutions of Northville.

Effective immediately, this agreement allows Red Level Networks to acquire 40 clients from Preferred Solutions. Red Level did not take on any of Preferred Solutions' employees, however.

"Red Level Networks was clearly the best choice for us," said Marie Seipenko, president of Preferred Solutions. "This acquisition was definitely the right move for both parties."

In addition to the acquisition, Preferred Solutions will also become a client of Red Level Networks. Red Level Networks will be working with Preferred Solutions as managed service, or RedCare Plus, clients; this plan includes virtualization and disaster recovery, among other services. Other terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.

RedCare Plus is Red Level Networks' managed service plan, providing a flat, fixed monthly at which companies can receive IT services. The plan can be customized to fit individual companies' IT needs.
