DETROIT (WWJ) – The Woodward Dream Cruise is quickly approaching and General Motors says they have a lot in store. In addition to the vintage cars parading up and down Woodward, some of GM’s new models will be shown off to the public.

The automaker’s global vice president Chris Perry says these unveilings won’t be hard to spot. “You’ll see a new Sonic, you’ll see a new Malibu. We’re introducing a new Camaro next year – the Camaro ZL1, which will be on display. If you’re a Camaro fan like I am, it’s just a fabulous vehicle. General Motors plans to celebrate the event in style. As for Perry, he wants to stroll around in a vintage car from the GM Heritage Center. “I’ve always been a big Camaro fan so something in the early ’60s to mid-’60s would be fantastic, if I could get that,” he says.
