Indian Trails Buses To Pack Safety Track Cameras

BELLEVILLE -- Belleville-based Safety Track of Michigan said Tuesday that Owosso-based Indian Trails Coach had agreed to equip all 62 of its buses with Safety Track's In Vehicle Camera.

"We looked at over 15 different varieties of in vehicle cameras for our buses," said Indian Trails safety manager Dan Tomlinnson. "We wanted to ensure that it met all of our requirements for safety and training. We also wanted to be able to host our data and have it download wirelessly through their WI-FI adapter."

Safety Track's In Vehicle Camera can give companies the added advantage of being able to "ride" along with their drivers. Used to improve driving habits, improve training, and reduce insurance claims, the system is being sold in a variety of businesses, from bus lines to taxi cabs to heavy equipment to and fleet vehicles.

Safety Track of Michigan is a woman-owned business that was established in 2002 to help businesses maintain control of fleet vehicles through the use of GPS tracking technology and in vehicle car cameras.
