EPrize Sales Contest Builder Now Available on Salesforce.com AppExchange

PLEASANT RIDGE -- EPrize announces the release of "Sales Contest Builder," an app integrated with Salesforce that allows sales managers and administrators to create online sales contests in six easy steps.

Built using Force.com, salesforce.com's social enterprise platform for employee social apps, Sales Contest Builder is immediately available on the Salesforce AppExchange.

"One of the biggest challenges sales managers face when running sales team contests is keeping top of mind so the sales team stays focused," says Bob Marsh, senior vice president of sales strategy at ePrize. "We've leveraged our expertise in online contests and sales success to make it easy for sales managers to create high impact contests that remove this burden so managers can be in the field with their team."

The Sales Contest Builder app tools allow managers to select the sales behaviors they want to motivate, such as: building a sales pipeline; advancing opportunities through the sales process; following up on sales leads; pitching specified products; contests focused on closing sales; or driving Salesforce adoption.  Sales Contest Builder also features Salesforce Chatter and email to automate the sharing of contest standings with participants.

"A social revolution is under way, creating a massive shift in how businesses collaborate, communicate and share information," said Ron Huddleston, vice president, ISV Alliances, salesforce.com. "Apps like Sales Contest Builder leverage the social capabilities customers expect from the salesforce.com ecosystem."

The contests stay competitive through real-time leader boards, automatic emails and Salesforce Chatter updates, where team members can comment on each other's progress. Additional features launching soon include a prize catalog with automated fulfillment and adding random draw sweepstakes and instant-win awards.

The Sales Contest Builder team debuted the new app at the 2011 Dreamforce conference. Now available on appexchange.salesforce.com, users installing Sales Contest Builder for the first time get a 30-day free trial.
